I work as the Provincial Organizer for the Ontario Pipe Trades Council (OPTC) of the United Association (UA).

The OPTC is across Ontario where we continue to have success in organizing non-union pipe trades contractors.

I’m a journeyman plumber, gas fitter, and pressure pipe welder. My welding and gas fitting tickets were all earned in UA Training Schools.

As an organizer I believe all of us in the piping trades deserve to be covered by a collective agreement. Working with tradespeople to certify their shops is the best way to do that.
