A Push for Change

October 27, 2016

“Be the change you wish to see in the world.”

This is exactly what Joe Roberts is doing as he pushes his shopping cart 9,000 km across Canada to help raise awareness and funding to help prevent youth homelessness. On October 23, 2016, Joe’s journey will bring him to Toronto’s Yonge-Dundas Square where you can learn how Push for Change is fighting for Canada’s youth.

On Sunday, October 23rd, 2016, hundreds of people gathered around Yonge and Dundas Square, in downtown Toronto, to support Joe Roberts’ The Push for Change (PFC) campaign and event.

The man who started it all, Joe Roberts, was there in attendance, who said was having an “emotional day” because of the huge amount of support, especially from his mother and younger sister there.

Hosted by sports journalist Rod Black and featuring CFL Hall of Famer, Michael “Pinball” Clemons, Juno-award winning artist Jully Black, stage actor Robert Pilon, the cast of Degrassi and more came out to support this inspiring cause to end youth homelessness.
